Dean and I decided to go camping for our last day off until Thanksgiving. We drove down to Laramie to drop off Dean's cello then a few miles over to Happy Jack. It was raining when we got there and there was only one spot left. We parked and set up our tent in the rain and Dean got a fire going for dinner. I was really glad I married an Eagle Scout who actually LEARNED all the scouting/camping stuff! It stopped raining and we ate a delicious dutch oven dinner about 9:30 p.m. We even slept pretty well until 4 a.m. when someone's car alarm went off. Then, just as we dozed back off, it went off again! We finally got back to sleep and slept until 9:00 a.m. Evidently everyone else in the campground did too because it looked like no one was up and about much before us. Not long after breakfast, we took Dean to lunch---I was so stuffed! We had a good visit, though and a good time.
On a different note, a college kid rear-ended me today on my way to the college. I can't believe how many times I've gotten slammed into. Dean says maybe I should take a look in the mirror and examine my driving. Honestly, I've been trying to be more careful but all of these accidents have been 100% the other person's fault. I looked for the "Hit me!" sign on my car, but I can't find it. I need a force shield to protect me!
